BLAST IN SRILANKA, 150 KILLED

There are reports of blasts in several places including Colombo on Easter occasions in Sri Lanka. In the serial blasts in different parts including the church, the Sri Lanka shooked by the blasts on sunday morning. It is being told that there are explosions in different places in Shilang. There are reports that 152 people were killed in two churches in Colombo during the Easter prayer meeting and in the blast near two hotels. More than 300 people were injured in these serial blasts. It is being told that apart from the church, there are also explosions near two other hotels. The injured have been taken to the hospital. 
This is one of the most horrific attacks in Sri Lanka's history. Minister of Economic Development and Public Distribution Harsh De Silva said, "Many people including foreigners have been killed." No one has ever taken responsibility for this attack. In Sri Lanka, the LTTE (LTTE) has carried out many attacks in the east. However, in 2009, the LTTE was eliminated. President Maitripala Sirisena has appealed to people to maintain peace. Sirisena said, "I am shocked by this unexpected event. The security forces have been instructed to take all necessary action.
According to Sri Lankan police, this blast has happened in three churches and three hotels. Police have said that the blast has happened in several luxury hotels and a church, while two other blasts have happened in the church outside Colombo. Actually this explosion took place when people gathered for church prayer in Easter. There was a crowd outside the church. Police said that the first blast occurred at 8:45 am local time. However, no organization has taken responsibility for this attack so far.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said at a series of blasts in Sri Lanka that I am in constant contact with the Indian High Commissioner in Colombo. We are keeping a close watch on the situation.
Police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera said that the explosion took place at the Church during the Easter prayer meeting at 8:45 pm local time. Police said that three churches in the attack - St. Anthony of Colombo, St. Sebastian Church of the West Coast Negembo and a church in Batikloa have been targeted. Three other explosions occurred in Punch Star Hotels-Shangri-La, The Cinamon Grand and The Kingsbury.
